AN ACT

to make provision for regulating the importation, conveyance and storage of petroleum and other inflammable oils and liquids; and to provide for incidental matters.

1.   Short title

This Act may be cited as the Petroleum Act.

2.   Interpretation

In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires—

“crude petroleum” means any petroleum found in naturally formed liquid deposits and obtained as a raw material for the purpose of being refined into its many petroleum finished products or derivatives;
